Desert Cruiser Overdrive

The Desert Cruiser is based on the design of the Benson Chimera tube preamp, but with tubes replaced by JFET transistors.

Its rich harmonics, overdrive range from boost to saturated distortion, and subtle, transparent equalizer make the Desert Cruiser a versatile tool. It can serve as a preamp, a boost for a tube amp, a standalone overdrive with impressive grit and dynamics, or even add a bit more character to a small, home-use solid-state amp.
